The single marks Kane and Mello’s second collaboration after the release of “One Thing Right” in 2019. “Mello texted me after one of my shows and he said, ‘Are you ready for part 2?’” Kane said of the new song. “I heard the song and we recorded it.”

He continued, “The song is just fun. I haven't been this excited to put a song out in a minute… When I first heard this song, it just brought joy to me. It felt like a smash, I just had to jump on it… It's a good summer song, I hope y'all love it as much as me and Mello do.”
