Warm and dry temps for Connecticut; cooler weekend expected

WHAT'S NEW: News12's Storm Watch Team meteorologists say it will be a quiet end to the week with cooler temperatures on the way. Friday is dry and mild with high temperatures near 63.

WHAT'S NEXT: Connecticut is looking at a 50/50 weekend ahead with cooler temperatures. Most of Saturday remains dry with showers beginning at night and high temperatures reaching only 60. Sunday high temperatures are only in the mid-50s with steady light to moderate rain all day. Winds will be breezy on Sunday coming from the SW at 10-15 mph.

FRIDAY: Dry and mild. A mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 63. Lows near 48.

SATURDAY: Sun throughout the day becoming cloudy with light showers starting late. Highs near 60. Lows near 46.

SUNDAY : Steady light to moderate rain all day and cool. Highs near 55. Lows near 49.
