WATCH: Viral video shows border patrol shooting in Rio Grande

EL PASO, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- Videos circulating through social media have shown the Texas Army National Guard firing projectiles behind razor wire along the Rio Grande.

Throughout the video, people off-camera can be heard yelling “¡Hay niños! ¡Hay niños!” (There are children!) After the alleged shots were fired, more voices in Spanish can be heard saying “¡Grábalo! ¡Grábalo!” (Record him!) “¡Vean como nos tratan!” (See how they treat us!)

The Texas military and utility vehicles are reported to be located in the southern area of the U.S. border wall, where Border Patro stated people frequently attempt to cross.

Prevention of illegal crossing in Texas was reported to include the placement of barriers and razor wire along the paths.
