Henrico Sports and Events Center to host bluegrass concert

The Henrico Sports and Events Center will host its first concert on June 21. The “Sips and Strings” event will feature two Virginia bluegrass bands: South Hill Banks and the Harwell Grice Band.

Tickets for the event are available through Ticketmaster.

“We are thrilled to welcome another layer of entertainment to Henrico with South Hill Banks and The Harwell Grice Band,” said Dennis Bickmeier, executive director of the Henrico Sports and Entertainment Authority. “Sips & Strings is an exciting opportunity to showcase the true versatility of the Henrico Sports & Events Center, and we are hopeful this is one of many concerts hosted here.”

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 6 p.m.
