HILLSDALE — The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson Township.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of Nokomis Trail near Cherokee Trail at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 1.

The preliminary investigation showed that Kelly Susan Davis, 38, of Coldwater was operating a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta westbound on Nokomis Trail when she lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree.
