Your SoCal Weather Report For Thursday, May 2: Sunny And Warm

Patchy fog will continue to cover the coasts and some valleys in the Southland this morning before breaking away for afternoon sun.

Average temperatures at the beaches will reach 69 degrees. The inland coast will see highs in the mid 70s and more inland areas including the valleys will be in the upper 70s, low 80s.

The high desert will see highs in the upper 70s to 80s, and in the 80s to low 90s for the low desert.

Tonight's lows will be in the mid 50s.

• Yes, Kawaii Is Art: Art can be cute and cute can be art at Japan House’s latest exhibit, which shows the history and artistry behind the uniquely Japanese concept of “kawaii.” Translating literally to “cute” or “adorable,” the idea has exploded into a movement that touches on art, technology, and fashion. The gallery partnered with artist Sebastian Masuda to create a space and series of events capturing kawaii in all forms. The show will be on view until Nov. 3.
