WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A semitruck carrying a load of cattle overturned early Thursday in Kingman County.

It happened on Kansas Highway 14 between Kingman and Rago near Southeast 50th Street around 1:30 a.m.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the semi was driving on northbound K-14 when it drifted to the right and exited the roadway. The driver overcorrected, causing the semi to overturn.

Kingman EMS says they arrived around 3:20 a.m. and found a man inside the cab of the semi. Crews worked quickly and requested assistance from the Sedgwick County Technical Rescue Team to help get the man out. He was safely extricated.
