COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — We’ve got the first 90-degree in the forecast today as high pressure remains dominate over the Chattahoochee Valley. While we’ll have plenty of sunshine, I can’t rule out a few stray showers this afternoon due to daytime heating and humidity.

Staying hot on Friday with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 once again, a few isolated showers will be possible during the afternoon, better chance for more scattered showers and a thunderstorm will arrive on Saturday.

Rain chances lower early next week and the heat is on, highs will reach the upper 80s on Monday but into the low 90s by the middle of next week.
