Warmer temperatures begin Friday - Alex

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Any remaining isolated showers and storms will continue to move out to Lake Michigan. Some fog is possible for areas east of Dane county Friday morning, but sunshine is in the forecast for everyone Friday afternoon with highs approaching 80. Expect a mild Friday night, with another chance of patchy fog.

EXTENDED FORECAST: Highs from Friday through Monday could reach 80 degrees each day. The next round of showers and storms looks to hold off until the weekend is over, with showers and storms expected both Monday and Tuesday. Some of these storms could be on the strong side. Temperatures will drop a bit following the storms, but highs will still be comfortably in the lower 70s/upper 60s.
