    Tonight's Forecast: Scattered showers and thunderstorms

    The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Haleigh Vaughn: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for West Michigan tonight. The threat for severe thunderstorms has come to a close, but some stronger wind gusts and small hail are possible overnight. Rain will continue through the first half of Friday, where are few more thunderstorms are possible. Warm air hangs around for the weekend, along with the small chance of a shower overnight Saturday and into early Sunday morning as a weak cold front slides through the state. Skies will be mainly dry for this weekend with high temperatures in the 70s. Stay alert with the FOX 17 Weather Team.

    TONIGHT: Cloudy with showers and few thunderstorms likely. Lows in the upper 50s. Winds south-southwest at 5 to 15 mph.

    FRIDAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning through about midday. Some late day clearing possible. Highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Variable winds at 5 to 15 mph.

    SATURDAY: Partly cloudy to partly sunny and mild. Chance of late overnight shower. Highs in the middle 70s.

    SUNDAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.

    MONDAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.
