LANE CLOSURES: LA 923 and areas of Sicily, Short, and Pine Street in Catahoula Parish to have extended lane closures until May 31st

CATAHOULA PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD) — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says the below routes will have alternating lane closures during the day with no night work. The lanes were scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, but have been extended to approximately Friday, May 31, 2024.

• LA 923 from LA 126 to LA 124
• 1018-01/Sicily Street from LA 124 to Catahoula Street
• 1018-02/Short Street from Pine Street to Sicily Street
• 1018-03/Pine Street from LA 124 to Catahoula Street

No detour route is needed, and DOTD appreciates everyone’s patience. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully through the construction zone and be on the lookout for workers and equipment.
