Powerhouse Hobbs, unfortunately, suffered a knee injury during last week’s episode of Dynamite and is now set to undergo knee surgery. Obviously, this is a significant setback for Hobbs, who has worked hard to establish himself in AEW. And while most fans on social media have expressed their sympathy, one tactless user on X suggested that Hobbs was constantly injured and bought it on himself due to his muscular physique. Subsequently, this comment caught the attention of the injured wrestler, leading to a profanity-filled response.

33-year-old Hobbs began working for AEW as a freelancer in 2020, having spent just over a decade building his name on the indies. From there, he would impress Tony Khan enough to earn a full-time contract and has become an important member of AEW’s roster, having been part of Team Taz, QT Marshall’s QTV, and the Don Callis Family. However, it now appears he is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and all that can be hoped is that he can fully recover and resume his career where he left off.
