Victim injured after being stabbed, one in custody, said Lubbock County SO

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said an individual suffered stab lacerations Tuesday morning after an argument between several individuals occurred.

Deputies responded to a home in the 13800 block of County Road 1420 for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the victim was found with lacerations to his arm and stomach.

LCDC revealed that several individuals were arguing when the suspect, 48-year-old Jeremy Stevens, and the victim got into a confrontation that led to the suspect stabbing the victim.

Stevens was transported to Lubbock County Detention Center and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The victim was treated by EMS on the scene. LCSO said the investigation is still ongoing.
