Shanksville-Stonycreek sophomore Grant Boozer was voted Daily American Somerset County breakout baseball player while Berlin Brothersvalley freshman Elena Ritchey was tabbed breakout softball player.

Boozer has 13 hits, 15 RBIs and 10 runs scored, and is batting .333. These stats were as of Monday night.

Meanwhile, Ritchey has 19 hits, a team-high 17 RBIs to go along with 13 runs scored. She is 3-3 with a 3.68 ERA in seven appearances with 49 strikeouts. These stats were prior to this week's action.
