Germantown Academy continues to hold down the top spot in our rankings of the top Bucks County area high school girls' lacrosse teams, but there are changes beneath the Patriots.

    1. Germantown Academy (3-6)

The Patriots just play toughie after toughie. Up next for them is powerful Episcopal Academy, followed shortly thereafter by Agnes Irwin. Brutal.

    2. Pennridge (9-3)

The Rams are currently seeded ninth in the PIAA District One Class 3A playoff rankings.

    3. Upper Moreland (10-2)

The Golden Bears, who hold down the top spot in the PIAA District One Class 2A playoff rankings, have a big Suburban One League American Conference game against Abington on Wednesday.

    4. Abington (8-4)

In addition to their matchup with Upper Moreland, the Ghosts are in the thick of the SOL American Conference race.

    8. Central Bucks East (7-5)

The Patriots look to bounce back from a one-goal loss to North Penn.

    9. Council Rock South (7-4)

The Golden Hawks are currently No. 23 in the PIAA District One Class 3A seedings. The top 24 teams qualify for the tournament, so their margin of error is slim.
