LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. — Visit Lawrence County has announced the return of its coffee club with the help of local students.

Five hundred local students, grades kindergarten through fourth, colored personalized coffee cup sleeves.

Schools participating included Ellwood City, Laurel, Mohawk Area, Neshannock Township, New Castle Area, New Castle Christian Academy, Shenango Area, Union and Wilmington Area school districts.

The seven local coffee shops offering the personalized sleeves are 3 Thirty-Three Apothecary, The Confluence, Joseph’s Coffee Shop, Mohawk Coffee House, National Grind Coffee & Tea Shop, Papa Gelateria and Pulse Coffee Company.

To win a free mug, customers must have a passport stamped from all seven locations. The passports can be picked up at any participating coffee shop.

“The goal was to showcase our local coffee shops with the help of our community and build pride for where they live,” said Janet Falotico, executive director of Visit Lawrence County. “This project wouldn’t have been possible without our local teachers. We love hearing the positive feedback which included residents and visitors discovering their new favorite coffee shop.”
