Daviess County to host annual Community Golf Outing

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The community is invited to participate in this year’s Community Golf Outing .

According to a release from Daviess County, the annual event will take place on Thursday, May 16 at the Country Oaks Golf Club. There will be multiple forms of competition as well as morning and afternoon events to choose from.

Golfers will be able to participate in X Marks the Spot, Floating Target, Longest Drive (Men and Women) Closest to the Flag (Men and Women), and Mulligans.

The release also notes that the Golf Outing will be an all-day event, with food, fun, prizes, giveaways, and of course golf. The schedule is as follows:

• Registration & Breakfast : 7:00 a.m.
• Morning Flight : 8:00 a.m.
• Lunch : 12:00 p.m.
• Afternoon Flight : 1:00 p.m.

The pricing for the golf packages also varies depending on how many players are involved and which activities people would like to participate in. There are also options for sponsor opportunities for those who would like to support the annual Community Golf Outing.

The pricing options for golf packages are as follows:

• Entertainment package | $550
• Golf, Lunch & Games package | $400
• Golfing only package | $300
• Individual player package | $75

The pricing options for sponsor opportunities are as follows:

• Lunch Sponsor | $1000
• Beverage cart sponsor | $750
• Breakfast sponsor | $500
• Prize sponsor | $100
• Hole Sponsor | $100
