    Coroner IDs man killed in motorcycle crash in northern York County

    A Newberry Township man was killed Sunday evening in a motorcycle crash in northern York County, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

    Timothy Rymer, 60, of the first block of White Oak Lane, died of multiple blunt force trauma, a news release states. The manner is accidental.

    The crash occurred in the area of Old York and Blair Hollow roads.

    Rymer was traveling southbound on Old York Road when his motorcycle struck a large piece of wood lying in the road, the release states.

    A witness told authorities it appeared that Rymer lost control and was trying to regain it when the motorcycle went down, the release states. The rider struck his head on the pavement.

    Carroll Township Police are investigating the crash.
