    Thunderstorms possible Friday but mostly sunny, warm over next few days

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - There's a Level 1 out of 5 threat for strong storms this Friday for the Mid-South.

    You'll want the sunglasses today.

    It's a mild and mostly clear start to the day.

    Temperatures on Wednesday afternoon are expected to rise into the low 80s across the Mid-South.

    Rain chance: <10%.

    Winds: 10 mph.

    LOOKING AHEAD: Warmer tomorrow in the mid-80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain returns Friday with low-end threat severe. Wind and hail are the threats. We're in the upper 80s early next week.
