    Walker County Sheriff’s Office finds missing girls

    UPDATE: The Walker County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday afternoon its aviation division found the missing girls in the woods near I-22. The WCSO stated the girls appear to be safe.

    ORIGINAL: Walker County Sheriff’s Office searching for missing girls last seen at foster home

    WALKER COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Walker County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two girls who left a foster home Saturday morning.

    According to WCSO, two females, ages 9 and 11, left a residence on Nix Road Saturday morning on their bicycles. The 9-year-old is 4’11” and weighs around 90 pounds. Her 11-year-old sister is 5’3″ and weighs 100 pounds. Both have brown hair.
