U.S. Route 322 in Delco reopens following fatal crash 00:44

BOOTHWYN, Pa. (CBS) - A portion of U.S. 322 Conchester Highway in Delaware County reopened Wednesday afternoon after a fatal accident closed the road for roughly three hours, according to the Upper Chichester Township Police Department.

Police said the roadway was closed from Chelsea Parkway to Creek Parkway.

CBS News Philadelphia is working to find out what led to the accident and how many cars were involved.

Pennsylvania State Police are handling the investigation.

One driver was stuck on the highway for hours before it reopened.

"I couldn't even get off in time and I then I saw the fire and a lot of police activity. I knew something was really bad," said Michelle Rollman, who lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
