No-hitter and more: Vote for the Cape Cod High School Baseball Player of the Week

Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which baseball players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winner will be announced on Thursday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Last week's winner

Tyler Kutil, Upper Cape

Kutil is the first baseball poll winner of the season with 39% of the votes. He struck out 11 over six innings and allowed one run, four hits, and one walk in a 4-1 win over Southeastern. At the plate, he added a triple, a walk and a run scored.

This week's candidates

Gavin Desley, Dennis-Yarmouth

Desley struck out nine over six scoreless innings for the win, and allowed one hit, for his first career win as the Dolphins beat Sturgis 6-1.

Anthony DiGiacomo, Barnstable

DiGiacomo went 3-for-4 at the plate and recorded a single, double, and triple for two RBIs and two scored runs for Barnstable in a 7-2 win over Bridgewater-Raynham.

Tyler Ellis, Cape Tech

Ellis finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two stolen bases in a 8-0 win over Bristol Aggie.

Connor Finn, Sandwich

Finn pitched a hitless 6.2 innings with eight strikeouts in a 9-0 win over Rockland.

Luca Finton, Bourne

Finton scored twice, and had a double, single, and an RBI in a 9-6 win over Wareham.

Finn Hyora, Monomoy

Hyora paced the Sharks' offense as he went 4-for-4 with four runs scored and two RBIs in a 20-3 win over Rising Tide.

Tyler Kutil, Upper Cape

Kutil pitched six innings, struck out eight, allowed two walks and no earned runs in a 5-2 win over Bourne. He also had an RBI double.

Jacob Larivee, Monomoy

Larivee pitched the last two innings and struck out all six hitters for Monomoy in a victory over Rising Tide.

Michael McGrail, Mashpee

McGrail had three hits and three RBIs for Mashpee in a 10-6 win over Carver.

Chace Robbins, Monomoy

Robbins went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a double, triple and five RBIs in a win over Rising Tide.

Trevor Ryone, Cape Tech

Ryone pitched a no-hitter for Cape Tech in a 8-0 win over Bristol Aggie. Ryone struck out 15 batters, and gave up one walk, and went 2-for-4 with two RBIs at the plate.

Eric Stanley, Barnstable

Stanley pitched a complete game shutout, as he struck out six and allowed no runs for a 2-0 win over D-Y.

Mason Tomlinson, Cape Tech

Tomlinson was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two stolen bases in a win over Bristol Aggie.
