BELLEFONTE, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Centre County Planning Commission presented a memorandum of understanding for Phase III-A of the Nittany Glen project — and this is looking to be the last.

The development project has been in development for the past two decades. There were a total of 15 phases to the project, and now all but one have been approved.

Phase III-A looks to add 22 duplexes and two single-family residential units for a total of 24 residences. The Centre County Board of Commissioners was happy to hear of the expansion.

“We appreciate the additional places for Centre County residents to live. We’ve got a lot of people who really liked to here or move here,” Mark Higgins, chair of the board, said.

The board made a motion to add the proposal to the next meeting’s consent agenda, meaning the final decision on it will be made on April 30 at the earliest.
