Water outage scheduled for Northeast portion of Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A scheduled water outage is set to take place for some Madison County residents on Tuesday.

The Madison County Water Department will be making system improvements to the water system in the Northeast area of Madison County. The outage is scheduled to start on Tuesday, April 16 at 8 a.m.

The system improvements will require a temporary water outage for customers along:

Dickey Street
Pauline Drive
Guy Wilson Road
Wicks Street
Hunt Drive
Malta Drive
Lane Drive
Dundee Road
Scofield Drive
Shiloh Road
Stanley Drive
Taffy Drive
Laten Road
Bledsoe Road
Salem Road

Officials say that the scheduled work is set to be complete on Tuesday by 2 p.m. 26 fire hydrants will also be affected by the improvements.
