Tranquil, late-spring temperatures will stick around on Tax Day Monday, April 15, in Bucks County and throughout the Delaware Valley, as temperatures will be warmer than average.

If you’re getting ready to head out for the day or just want to know what to expect, here’s a look at the forecast from the National Weather Service.

What’s the weather in Bucks County?

Monday will be one of the more pleasant weather days this week, said Mike Lee, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

"Monday's high will be in the upper 70s, and could reach 80," Lee said. "It will just be a nice, warm spring day."

The slight chance of rain is the only thing that could spoil an otherwise picture-perfect spring day.

"A mix of sun and clouds today with some scattered afternoon showers and storms over Delmarva and southern NJ," read a portion of the National Weather Service's morning alert on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. "A couple storms occult be strong to marginally severe with damaging winds and and hail being the threats."

Lee said South Jersey would see most of the rain, if any.

Otherwise for Bucks County, Lee said it won't be as breezy as it has been the pst few days, with forecasts calling only for mild winds no stronger than 10 mph.

The generally uneventful pattern will continue through Tuesday, when it will also be a mostly sunny day with high temperatures still warm at around 70 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service's seven-day forecast for Bucks County, the next rain-producing pattern moves in on Wednesday, with most of the rain expected in the afternoon.

The rain and cloudy conditions will hold temperatures to the low 60s on Wednesday.

"There's a great chance of rain moving in on Wednesday, which will cool things down a bit," Lee said. "That system will likely continue into Thursday."
