New logo same mission– Erie Community unveils new look

The Erie Community Foundation launched a new look but it still includes their iconic acorn symbol. The nearly 90-year-old organization is rebranding with a new logo.

The updated logos were created using feedback from the public to better understand how people perceive the community foundation.

Some of the responses suggested their logo was outdated, so they have modernized the acorn symbol.

The president of the Erie Community Foundation said she wants the symbol to demonstrate the growth they’re seeing downtown, and across Erie County.

“That momentum is propelling forward not only our work at the community foundation but all the efforts across the community and that’s something that we thought about as we created this new visual representation is what we hope that the new version of the acorn demonstrates or shows forward momentum,” said Karen Bilowith, president of the Erie Community Foundation.

The president of the organization reminds the public that erie gives will once again take place on the second Tuesday in August this year that’s August 13.
