DENVER ( KDVR ) – On Wednesday night, Douglas County commissioners updated citizens about a possible ordinance directed at the migrant busing industry.

The ordinance, which is set for a second reading on April 2, would limit the unloading of commercial passengers in unplanned locations.

“It would really penalize those that are trying to bus citizens, illegally, through Douglas County,” said Commissioner Abe Laydon.

Commissioners are also looking to take legal action so local law enforcement can fully cooperate with federal immigration officials.
