60 employers to attend job fair in Bedford County

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — An upcoming job fair in Bedford County will give attendees the chance to talk with over 60 different employers.

The job fair will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd at the Bedford County Fairgrounds (729 W Pitt Street). There is no cost to attend and it’s being hosted by the Bedford County PA CareerLink.

The event is open to the public and there will be a veterans-only time from 9:30 – 10 a.m. Sixty different area employees from a variety of industries will be recruiting and hiring at the fair.

The Bedford County unemployment rate is at a record low 2.8%, so employers are eager to talk with all job seekers and anyone considering a career change. You’re advised to bring a resume and be ready for potential interviews.

In preperation for the fair they’ll also be hosting a “How to be your best at a job fair” workshop on Thursday, March 28.
