Two suspects wanted after robbing Lincoln County Dollar General: Sheriff

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — An investigation is underway in west Lincoln after two people entered a Dollar General with masks and handguns, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the Dollar General at 8681 NC Highway 10.

When they arrived, they learned the two suspects forced an employee to open the cash registers so they could take the money.

Officials say Cleveland and Gaston Counties have had similar incidents and they could be related.
