Burlington used to be known as Burlington Coat Factory, but the retailer has branched out to offer more than just coats.
You can find clothes for the whole family, accessories, beauty items, home decor, and other items at its many locations across the U.S. And you might even save money shopping by purchasing items here.
The retailer continues to grow and plans to add many new locations in the next few months. Find out if your city is on the list of locations for a new Burlington.
March is a big month for Burlington: The retailer is opening 18 new stores.
Atlanta has two new stores openings this month. They join three existing locations in the city.

Texas will see more openings in April, with two new spots. That includes a new store in San Antonio, which joins eight stores that are already open in the city.
Expect the largest number of Burlington store openings in May, with more than two dozen new locations opening that month.
Anchorage picks up its third Burlington. The city is the only one in Alaska with Burlington locations. Another Anchorage location also opens in June.
Meanwhile, Puerto Rico gets its second location in Bayamon. The island has 12 cities with Burlington stores.

San Jose does have access to Burlington locations in Milpitas and Fremont, but this will be the first store in San Jose itself.
Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy last year, liquidating its assets and selling off its store locations throughout the country.
So far, Burlington has taken over more than 40 locations that used to belong to Bed Bath & Beyond.
8. Burlington isn’t the only one with this plan
The bankruptcy of Bed Bath & Beyond opened up retail space for other companies besides Burlington that wanted to take over leases or buy the properties.
Retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Michaels, and Macy’s have picked up former Bed Bath & Beyond spots.
9. Burlington has done this before
Plenty of Burlington locations now stand in spaces that once belonged to other retailers.
Burlington has moved into spaces that used to be Circuit City, Toys “R” Us, or Sports Authority locations.
Michael O’Sullivan, the CEO of Burlington, said some of the company’s best locations used to be Sears or Kmart stores.
Believe it or not, Bed Bath & Beyond is still around.
Bed Bath & Beyond is now an online-only retailer selling things such furniture, home accessories, decor, and more through a website.
The website was purchased by Overstock.com and is now part of Overstock’s portfolio. The company agreed to buy Bed Bath & Beyond’s name and e-commerce portfolio.
Bottom line
If you are trying to get ahead financially , add Burlington to your list of retailers and look for bargains when you shop there.
And if you live in one of the cities on this list, keep your eye out for grand opening sales at the new Burlington in your community.
