Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS reportedly have been named in a new lawsuit filed by the family of the band's late guitar tech Francis Stueber.

According to the suit, Stueber's family says he died just days after contracting the COVID-19 virus while on tour with the band in October 2021, per TMZ .

The Messenger reached out for comment to Simmons' and Stanley's reps, who did not immediately respond.

The family says the highly contagious virus began spreading amongst the group in August that same year, beginning with Stanley.

The court docs allege that protocol stated that anyone who contracted COVID while on tour had to quarantine in whichever city the band was playing in at the time.

However after Stueber fell ill with the virus in Detroit and was told to stay in a Sheraton hotel in the area, KISS manager Doc McGhee allegedly did not set up the proper medical personnel to examine Stueber — despite allegedly saying he would.

The documents, according to TMZ, go on to allege that after McGhee asked another tour member to check on Stueber, they found him dead in the hotel room — just two days after allegedly testing positive.
