7 NJ employers earn spots on Fortune's list of best companies to work for

Looking for a great company to work for? New Jersey has plenty, according to Fortune magazine's latest rankings.

The business magazine released its annual report that ranks the 100 best companies to work for nationwide.

Out of the top 10 companies that made the list, seven have locations in New Jersey.

The magazine used data collected from its partner, Great Place to Work, which surveyed workers nationwide to share confidential quantitative and qualitative feedback on the quality of the experience working at each company.

To make the list, companies must have at least 1,000 U.S. employees and not be a government agency.

Among the top 10 list here are the 7 companies that have locations in New Jersey.

• Cisco Systems ranked 1st on the list, offers employees careers in an inclusive workplace with benefits that go way beyond the usual. They have three locations in New Jersey.
• Hilton Hotels ranked 2nd on the list with 98 locations in New Jersey. Hilton Hotels offers employees careers with a debt-free education.
• American Express ranked 3rd on Fortune’s list, features has three locations in New Jersey that offer work flexibility careers.
• Wegmans Food Markets ranked 4th on the list with nine locations in New Jersey. Wegmans offers a family-like atmosphere with career opportunities in six departments .
• Accenture ranked 5th on the list has one office located in New Jersey. Careers at Accenture offer employees positive and long-lasting values.
• Comcast ranked 9th on the list, has 20 New Jersey locations. Comcast offers career programs and opportunities for students and graduates.
• Marriott International ranked 10th on the list with 109 locations in New Jersey. Marriott offers employees career paths helping everyone from recent graduates to military veterans.

Forbes America’s Best Large Employers 2023 top 100 also included Hilton, American Express, Cisco Sytems, Wegmans and Marriot International.
