    Police searching for suspects in Stamford hit-and-run

    (STAMFORD, Conn.) Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in a hit-and-run in Stamford, according to FOX 61.

    The incident occurred on June 6 near Wilson Street and Grenhart Road. A 45-year-old Stamford resident was struck by a car.

    The victim was rushed to Stamford Hospital with life-threatening injuries. They currently remain in the ICU in critical, but stable condition.

    Investigators found evidence of the crime at the scene. Witnesses were unable to provide any other information.

    Neighborhood surveillance and Stamford traffic camera footage was used in order to identify the suspect’s vehicle.

    Police are searching for a dark-colored, four-door sedan with a sunroof and Connecticut plates. It appears to have damage to the front bumper and hood.

    There appears to be at least three people in the car, according to the footage.
