    FMHS softball rally comes up short in 7th

    Fort Madison High School’s softball rally fell short in the bottom of the seventh and the Bloodhounds lost 12-10 to Burlington High School Thursday at Hoskins Field. Neeley Rehm took the loss and came out in the fifth when Burlington was starting a nine-run inning. Erika Kruse came in and yielded seven of those runs but none were earned.
