    Woman has car stolen at gunpoint while pumping gas Tuesday morning

    (LINCOLN, Neb.) Lincoln authorities are on the lookout for a vehicle that was stolen at gunpoint while a woman was pumping gas early Tuesday morning.

    According to 10/11Now, officers were called to the U-Stop gas station near 27th Street and Interstate 80 around 1 a.m. for a report of a stolen vehicle.

    The Lincoln Police Department said the 19-year-old victim was filling her car with gas when a man approached her with a gun.

    Reports said the man hit the woman in the face with the gun before taking her car.

    The woman went to the hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.

    Police said they are searching for the suspect and the stolen vehicle described as a gray 2009 Volkswagen Passat with the license plate number 43-L308.
