Catfish Catch & Release Father’s Day Fishing Tournament
Does dad like to fish? Consider spending the day at Carrollwood Village Park for their first annual Catfish Catch and Release Father’s Day Fishing Tournament. Each fishing team can consist of one adult and one child. You can register your team here. There will also be food trucks, a DJ, and other free activities including free classes for the kids from FWC & Tampa Bay Junior Bass Club!

Looking for something special for your daughter(s) to do with dad this year? Next Generation Kids Camp is hosting a 'Ties & Tiaras' Daddy Daughter Dance that includes dinner, a DJ, a raffle, and balloon drop. Teddy Bear Mobile will also be on location so the kids can make their very own keepsake to bring home!

The event includes vendors, food trucks, Georgia peaches, special gifts for dad, a 50/50, and a performance by the Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band Double Your Trouble.

Does dad enjoy history? He might enjoy a day at The Henry B. Plant Museum! Located in the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, dads can take advantage of free admission beginning at noon. In addition to touring the historic property, visitors will learn about the impact Booker T. Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, and Henry Plant had on Tampa. It'll be a day the family will remember for years to come!

The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art features artworkdepicting the history of the American West. Their permanent collection features a native life, frontier, and wildlife gallery plus far more.
