The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will be hosting the 2021 Virtual Teacher Summit on Thursday, July 22nd, and Thursday, July 29th via Zoom.

Rock Hall EDU will teach participants how to apply the resources on its digital education platform into their course of study. Participants will get 60 days of access to recorded material after the summit.

In addition, participants will have the chance to participate in virtual exhibit exploration, revel in social happy hour experiences, and engage in music-based workshops as well as breakout sessions with fellow educators.

Registration will be open from June 1st to June 18th. The organizers will inform accepted attendees by July 2nd. Attendance on both dates is essential and will be required from the participants.

To attend this summit, those interested must write an email to edusupport@rockhall.org using the subject line “Rock Hall Teacher Summit 2021 Application” and should include these details:

    • First and Last Name
    • School Name
    • School Address
    • Grade(s) taught
    • Subject(s) taught
    • Number of students taught
    • A brief 500-word essay answering: “What does music mean to you in your life? And how do you incorporate music into your classroom?”

The lucky participants will have the chance to get their application paid in full thanks to the American Electric Power Foundation, which has been a generous supporter of the project. The foundation has played a significant role in helping this free digital education platform reach nearly one million students worldwide.
