Tickets on Sale for Illuminarium Experiences’ first venue on Atlanta’s BeltLine

Illuminarium Experiences, a new global experiential entertainment company, has announced that tickets are now on sale for its first Illuminarium in Atlanta, opening July 1, 2021, called WILD: A Safari Experience. This first-of-its-kind entertainment experience will showcase the beauty and splendor of Africa’s most exotic animals in their natural habitats.

WILD: A Safari Experience will transport visitors to Africa through cinematic content shot on location by Radical Media, using custom camera arrays that provide a 240-degree native field of view. This experience will showcase animals in their native habitats across South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, and Tanzania. Visitors will also be immersed in the authentic sounds and scents of Africa, all without having to leave the BeltLine.

Illuminarium’s immersive experience transports visitors to far-off places by placing them inside the narrative with techniques used in traditional motion picture production and virtual reality, and without using wearable hardware.

During the evenings on Thursdays through Saturdays, Illuminarium will transform into a dynamic bar featuring an immersive environment, allowing guests to have cocktails and food surrounded by an ever-changing lush and stunning atmosphere.

Visitors can also experience The Illuminarium Café, offering indoor seating and an outdoor patio facing the Atlanta BeltLine. The café will serve authentic dishes, beer, and wine from the all over Africa along with local Southern favorites.

The Illuminarium Shop will offer a wide variety of gifts inspired by the safari experience, including souvenirs like eco-friendly plush toys, woven baskets, beaded jewelry, and hand-carved wooden décor sourced from artisan networks in Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.

Both The Illuminarium Café and The Illuminarium Shop are open to the public and do not require paid admission.

Illuminarium has partnered with global conservation organization WildArk to work with local partners to protect prioritized wildlife, biodiversity, and ecosystems around the world.

After Atlanta, Illuminarium will open in Las Vegas at AREA 15 in January 2022 and in Miami and Mana in the Wynwood Arts District in fall 2022. The entertainment company is also considering other North American locations such as New York City, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, and Austin.

Tickets for WILD: A Safari Experience start at $30 for kids and $35 for adults. A Combination Experience upgrade costs $40 and includes admission, a guidebook, one take-away snack or soft drink, and a portion of your proceeds supporting WildArk Advocacy. An All-Inclusive Experience upgrade includes admission, a guidebook, a $10 voucher for the café or shop, flexible entry time, and a portion of your proceeds supporting WildArk Advocacy.

Illuminarium is located on the Atlanta BeltLine just south of Ponce City Market at 550 Somerset Terrace NE.
