    We are halfway through another week here in Menomonee Falls. Are you looking for something fun to do? There are plenty of things going on in and near Menomonee Falls that you can check out today. Here is a fun list:

    • May Candle Classes at Charmbiance Wine Bar and Arts in Hales Corners

    Head out to Hales Corners and the Charmbiance Wine Bar and Arts in Hales Corners for a fun night of candle-making from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. You will get to choose an all natural fragrance for your candle, paint it and pour soy wax. It costs $30 for an 8 oz half pint jar or an 8 oz Kerr jar, or $40 for a 12 oz large jar. There are many template and fragrance choices to choose from, such as coco lima, cantaloupe lily, strawberry rhubarb, sage and chamomile, cucumber melon, floral fields, dreamsicle, lavender lullaby, WI woodlands, vanilla voodoo, sunwarmed sandalwood, fresh linen, tooty fruity, cafe mocha, sexy, pepper and port, coconut macaroon and brewed Jasmine.

    • Traveling Beer Garden at Juneau Park in Milwaukee

    There will be a fun Traveling Beer Garden at Juneau Park in Milwaukee on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event is being put on by the Pass Me A Pint tour. Bring family and friends and enjoy local brewers from Sprecher. There will also be snacks such as polish sausage, brats and pretzels as well as empanadas from Triciclu Peru. Plastic cups for beverages will be provided. The proceeds from this event go to support local parks. You can pay with cash or a credit card. Due to the WI mask ordinance, you need to wear a mask when ordering food/drinks or interacting with event staff.

    • Dance Class for Kids at Dreams Life and Wellness Center in Waukesha

    If your kids like to dance, consider this fun class from Dreams Life and Wellness Center in Waukesha from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. They will be learning different dances from all over Latin America. This class takes place every Monday at 5 p.m. The first class is free, and then costs a monthly fee of $40. This class is for ages 3 to 6, but from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there is a class for kids 7 to 12.

    • Riverwalk Tour

    Head over to Milwaukee for a fun RiverWalk Tour from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. You will get to learn the history behind the RiverWalk and enjoy sculptures. It is free for Hictoric Milwaukee, Inc. members and otherwise costs $10.

    • Build your own front porch welcome sign at Fisk Avenue in Waukesha

    Head out to Waukesha and Fisk Avenue for this fun building your own front porch welcome sign event at 6:30 p.m. Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time.

    • Dragonfly and Damselfly Workshop - Virtual Event by Waukesha County Parks

    From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday night, you can learn about dragonflies and damselflies from the comfort of your own home with this virtual event put on by Waukesha County Parks. This is an exploration into this fascinating world. The program is a great way to learn about how you can help later on in the field as well. It will cover the basics of dragonfly and damselfly ecology and identification. This workshop is appropriate for ages 13 and up.

    Whether you are looking to get outside or find something fun for your kids to do, there are some great events in and near the Menomonee Falls area. Have a great Wednesday whether you are getting out and about or learning something new in the comfort of your home!
