If you’re looking for a way to meet people, a great option is to join a Toastmasters club. The website at Toastmasters International will give you a list of all clubs within your area, and you should be able to find a wide variety of options. Operating across all 50 states, even in the smallest of cities, Toastmasters has you covered.

It is commonly known that many Americans fear death second only to public speaking. Toastmasters is an organization that will help you conquer your fears while allowing you to socialize and meet people. During this pandemic mini clubs have opted to move their meetings into an online zoom setting. This allows you to practice speaking and make new friends always sitting home in your pajamas. It’s a great option I can help you get ready for the return to normalcy.

There are many clubs in Las Vegas to choose from, however, I have an extra special recommendation. The club is called I’ll Drink To That Toastmasters. They have been around for a couple decades and meet upstairs at a dive bar on Maryland Parkway. However, during this pandemic, Zoom meetings have become normal. This is a very tightknit group of people and they’ve been able to weather the storm of not meeting in person, but went in person meetings are back expect this to be a powerful meet up once again.

It can be hard to meet people in normal day-to-day life, and Toastmasters International is one organization that removes barriers. You can make new friends while practicing a new skill. There are set goals to reach as far as public speaking or you can choose just to watch. There’s no pressure and it’s a great space.

If you’re looking to meet people, I recommend Toastmasters international. And in Las Vegas I specifically recommend I’ll Drink To That Toastmasters. It’s a great group, and it’s been a great group since it’s inception. Some charter members still attend and they’ve got great stories. There’s always new blood coming into the organization as well and I think you’ll find an eclectic mix of people.
