    Bottom Line:
If you’re injured you can’t perform.

With live events opening soon, our bodies may not be primed to perform in the way they used to.

Let me know if this sounds like you:

(Pre-pandemic) You’re taking every class at BDC and Steps. You’re crushing it in auditions, you’re getting callbacks and booking work.
You’re in heaven, performing your dream role, potentially traveling the country or seeing the world. You’re booked and blessed! Everything’s great!

And then BAM you roll your ankle or that knee that has been nagging you in rehearsal finally gives out or your planters facitiis is so painful you can barely walk or your debilitating back pain leaves you unable to leap or jump.

It came out of nowhere. Of course it did. Injuries happen when we’re not aware of our body; when we’re not catering specifically to our own body's needs.

Consider these 3 things to prevent injury:
    - WHAT is ACTUALLY going on when our bodies develop injuries?
    - WHY training to be “Fit For Broadway” is not helping you, but harming you
    - WHY only going to dance class and rehearsal may actually be putting you more at risk to injury

Take it from me who had injured my back so bad that I couldn’t even walk let alone audition or perform in a production.

We’ve been out of work for nearly a year now. Let’s not be out of work as soon as theater opens up because of an injury that could have been prevented.
