Meres allegedly threw clothes at the man, grabbed him by his arm, and pushed him up against a wall. Police say they tried to arrest Meres but she resisted and dropped to the floor.

Eventually, Meres was placed in the back of a police cruiser with a K9 unit. As stated in the affidavit, Meres began taunting the K9 unit and rocked the cruiser back and forth causing the dog to push through a safety divider.

Meres was charged with simple assault, harassment, taunting police a animal, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. She was released on $1,000 bail.
