WNCT.com’s Food Truck Fridays: Garden of Eaten

NEWPORT, N.C. (WNCT) — How about a taste of the Garden of Eaten rather than the Garden of Eden?

Jordan Watson’s family started the food truck as an extension of their established business, Carolina Home & Garden around five years ago. Most of the time that’s where Garden of Eaten Food Truck and Wood Fired Pizza is set up.

Watson said that a lot of the menu items are on the healthier side, but he tried to include a little something for everybody. The menu includes salads, wraps and bowls. Now they also have the option to fire up their wood-fired pizza oven and serve homemade pizza as well.

While Garden of Eaten is set up at Carolina Home and Garden several days throughout the week, the truck is also available for events like parties and weddings.
