Multiple SCV track stars return home CIF champs

Burros' setter joins Pirates
Burroughs senior and volleyball player Kaylee Cooper had her official commitment and signing ceremony with Ventura College on Sunday, March 31st. She will be moving to Ventura at the end of June to begin summer practices for the 2024 indoor volleyball season. She plans to play indoor volleyball and beach volleyball for the Pirates during the 2024-2025 school year.
NCAA men’s regionals: High drama as top seed, four No. 2 seeds fail to advance
No. 2 regional seeds have had some luck of late in the NCAA Championship. Each of the past three national team champions on the men’s side – Pepperdine (2021), Texas (2022) and Florida (2023) – were No. 2 at their respective NCAA regionals. Strangely enough, those three teams also finished fourth at regionals.
