A Newberry man will spend the next 4 decades in prison after pleading guilty on federal charges. The U.S. Attorney's Office says 31 year old, Eric Rashun Jones entered guilty pleas to human trafficking conspiracy, witness tampering and weapons violations.

Court documents state Jones used violence to force women into the commercial sex trade, by leaving some of them severely injured. Two of the victims were abducted by Jones and forced into having sex for money, that he would confiscate.

Jones has been sentenced to 40 years in federal prison, there's no parole in the federal system.
