Newark Arts Alliance enrolling students for summer art camp

The Newark Arts Alliance is now enrolling students for its annual summer art camp.

Camp Imagine will be held July 29 to Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at New Ark United Church of Christ on Main Street. Families can sign up for one or both weeks.

“Now in its 26th year, this camp was designed to inspire young minds and cultivate artistic talents,” Executive Director Pamela Draper said. “Camp Imagine stands out from the crowd because it gives kids a chance to explore multiple different art forms, including music, theater, dance and visual arts and crafts.”

The program schedule is filled with hands-on activities and opportunities for play in a supportive and vibrant environment. Led by experienced instructors passionate about nurturing creativity, children ages 7 to 12 can have two weeks filled with fun, friendship, and endless artistic exploration.

The cost is $300 for one week or $550 for both weeks. Before and after care is available for $5 per hour.

Financial assistance is available for families in need.
