Allerton: 34-year-old Male Motorbike Driver Dies following Three-Vehicle Crash
A 34-year-old male motorbike driver has died following a motor vehicle accident at Barker Avenue and Waring Avenue in Allerton, police said. According to the NYPD, on Tuesday, April 16, at around 9.22 p.m., officers from the 49th Precinct came upon a vehicle collision at the intersection of Barker Avenue and Waring Avenue in Allerton. They said further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad (CIS) determined that a 34-year-old man was driving a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle which was traveling northbound on Barker Avenue, when he went through a steady red light.
