Brewster said: "She has a lot of fear, she really does. She was concerned about the security coming into New York. She wore a bulletproof vest every day, until she got into the courthouse.

"I can tell you that before she came on Sunday she cried herself to sleep. She was paralyzed with fear. Not of taking the stand or telling her story, but what some nut might do to her. And I'm genuinely concerned about it as well.

Shortly after leaving the courtroom, Daniels took to social media to take a further jab at Trump, simply writing: "Real men respond to testimony by being sworn in and taking the stand in court. Oh...wait. Nevermind."
