Yankees stars, Knicks greats come out for Game 1 vs. Pacers at the Garden

Forget the Met Gala — it’s Round 2 at the Garden, and the Knicks’ biggest fans are showing out.
Several Yankees stars, past and present, showed their support, with Giancarlo Stanton, Nestor Cortes and Gleyber Torres spending their night off rooting for the orange and blue in Game 1 of the Knicks’ series against the rival Pacers.
Famed Yankees closer Mariano Rivera was seated courtside among several celebrity staples, including actor Tracy Morgan — wearing a massive golden eagle bracelet — “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update anchor Michael Che, director Spike Lee and “Shameless” star Emmy Rossum.
Former Knicks John Starks, Larry Johnson, Allen Houston and Stephon Marbury cheered on the current generation — as did legends Bill Bradley and Walt “Clyde” Frazier.
Mets owner Steve Cohen donned an Amazin’s cap while taking in the game courtside.
Mayor Eric Adams also showed up for a chance to root on the home team.
The Knicks’ penchant for drawing celebrities was a talking point for the 76ers in the first round, with the likes of actors Ben Stiller and Jerry Ferrara firing back at Philly’s Kelly Oubre over his criticism of Celebrity Row.
The Pacers, at this point, haven’t engaged on the topic.
