Two men were shot in the vicinity of an apartment building in Fordham on Friday afternoon, according to the NYPD.

Police say that they responded just after 4 p.m. to the shooting. One of the victims was shot in the arm and the other was shot in the torso near 2407 Morris Ave.

Both victims were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to survive.

Police say that they are currently searching for three suspects who all fled on foot.

Six shell casings were spotted at the scene and officers were seen taking pictures of bullet holes on a car that was left in the street.

NYPD data shows that shootings are up 50% in this area compared to this time last year. 12 people have been shot in the 46th Precinct so far in 2024.

    No arrests have been made.
